The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of The Town of Amherstburg is just over 23,500.

The Town of Amherstburg wishes to construct a set of eight (8) fully enclosed dedicated pickleball courts located West of the main parking lot at the Libro Recreation Complex, 3295 Meloche Road, using asphalt penetration construction method, with 600mm wide x 450mm deep concrete footing for 3m high perimeter fencing and 1.75m wide wind screen complete with two 3m wide vehicle gates, 5.5m wide concrete common area between two sets of four courts, and 2.5m exterior concrete sidewalks. Contract shall include all excavation of existing topsoil with on-site disposal, and supply and installation of granular base including big- ‘o’ drainage, and the restoration, fine grading and hydro seeding of a 4.5m wide perimeter around the newly constructed courts and sidewalks.

Provide Alternate price #1 for 1.2m high interior dividing fences with six 1.2m wide self-closing pedestrian gates.
Provide Alternate price #2 for additional concrete sidewalks and concrete pad.
