The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of The Town of Amherstburg is just over 23,500. The Town of Amherstburg (the “Town”) is inviting qualified companies to submit a bid for the reconstruction of multi-use trails in Jack Purdie Park located at 609 Richmond Street in Amherstburg, Ontario. Bids should include all labour and materials to complete this work as per drawings and specifications set forth in Tender 2025-003. The Contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of a multi-use pathway/trail system including site restoration, demolition and removals of specific site elements as indicated in the tender package including all locates. The Contractor will be responsible to layout the pathways in the exact locations as indicated on the drawings and in accordance with direction from the Town’s Project Manager. All soils will remain on site and the contractor will be responsible to move soil to the far south west corner of the park, and to shape and grade a small sledding hill at the direction of the Town’s project Manager. |
