Description: 

The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of The Town of Amherstburg is just over 23,500.

The Town of Amherstburg wishes to upgrade the existing Bar Point Pump station and construct a new sewer drain along Lakewood Drive within the vicinity of Ridgewood Lane, Claremont Lane and Essex Boulevard. The works included are: 

  1. Supply and install a new 40 Hp electric motor and single-stage propeller pump assembly with associated electrical works.
  2. Install a new 50 kW diesel backup generator system complete with an automatic transfer switch and associated electrical works.
  3. Construct a new storm sewer drain with installation of pipes, pre-cast concrete maintenance holes, catch basins, and associated infrastructure.
  4. Brushing, excavation, drain cleanouts, ditch filling and excess soils management and restoration works as specified.
